Facilities

Computer Labs Bahria College has its own dedicated IT Department for IT related activities. It has four centrally controlled Computer Labs having latest hardware and software. All IT activities are controlled by the Network Team under the supervision of Network Administrator. Broadband facility is also available to students and faculty / staff members under certain access rules. Laboratories The College has well equipped and properly maintained Science and Art Laboratories. Adequately trained staff provides regular guidance to students, aimed at providing a safe and secure working environment. Library The College has 03 libraries equipped with variety of reading material ranging from books, journals, periodicals and news papers. A large number of reference books on various subjects, both in Art and Science are available to the students as well as teachers. Each student is allowed to draw one book at a time for a period of one week. A book, if not required shall be re-issued to the same borrower only after it has been returned to the library in its original condition. Damage or loss of books will render students liable to pay, either the cost of the book, at the current market price or to replace them. Modern education aid like Multimedia projectors etc, are available to make class room instructions more effective.   College Hall A specious hall with multimedia facility is available for various curricular and co-curricular activities. Debates, declamations, Melaads and lectures delivered by renowned resource persons are also arranged in this hall. At times this multi-purpose hall is utilized as an examination center. Medical Coverage To cater for medical emergencies, a proper Medical Care Centre headed by a qualified and experience lady doctor has been established within College premises. Vaccination and inoculation is arranged as and when required. Parents are also requested to keep an eye on the personal hygiene of their kids to ward off any health hazards. Sports Sports are a regular feature of Bahria College Islamabad. It offers coaching facilities and annual competitions in outdoor and indoor games both for boys and girls, separately. A full size well-manicured grassy playing field along with other playing venues is available. During the college hours Gymnasium is also available for the students. During the week, qualified physical training instructors supervise physical training as part of the college sports curriculum. Home Economics Lab Home Economics Lab developed for the purpose of Home Economics Activities where students from class VI to VIII perform cooking practicals and make their projects related to Arts. College Canteen A separate canteen which caters for both boys and girls is available. Eatables, confectioneries, tea/coffee and juices are available at competitive rates on cash payment. The students must abide by the following instructions:
  • Should not visit the canteen during classes.
  • Must not indulge in any act of juvenile delinquency.
Prayer Hall An exclusive Prayer Hall is available to facilitate the students and teachers for their timely prayers. Music Room Music is offered as a subject at various levels and is the basic component of our Early Years Programs.           Clubs & Houses Various clubs such as Debating Club, Science, Computer, Gymnastic & Sailing / Rowing Club etc are organized at Bahria College for compulsory participation of students in useful and productive activities essential for their healthy mental / physical growth. To include competitive spirit among students various annual competitions in academics, sports and other co-curricular activates are also held in all four houses (Jinnah, Iqbal, Tippu Sultan and Zafar) of Bahira College. The students are to wear their respective House badges as a part of their uniform, feel proud of this association and thus endeavor to keep their flag high.  Students' Counselor College has a qualified students counselor for guidance and counseling. He / She organizes such guest lectures for the students of the college as required for their personality development, inculcation of religious and cultural values/traditions and career planning. He works in close coordination with the teachers, parents and the college doctor to provide guidance and counseling to the students on various aspects like choosing different disciplines as per their academic potential and aptitude, difficulties in learning, psychological problems etc.
